I’ve been guilty of the same rule violation, several times.

The worst experience with OCX files I’ve run into is when a ‘competitor’ uses the same OCX. I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent debugging problems in my app, only to find out the user had recently uninstalled or updated company XYZ’s app.
