Hi Rick,
Like Phil said, I suspect this might be a 'combination' thing. I use QuickBooks Premier 2004, and upgraded to IE7 when it came out. I haven't experienced any problems. Any chance you could put a link to your technical partner's blog - I'd be interested in learning more.
Cheers,
Craig

I've been running IE7 and several versions of QB for months and haven't had any problems. Maybe it's one of those "weird" combination problems where having this version of this and that makes things NOT work.

I am running 2004 too. Looks like 2005 users might get an update without upgrading in the future, 2006 has an update available, and 2007 is already compatible.

Rick,

Yes. Installshield X doesn't work with IE7 either. There answer, upgrade to IS 11. Hmmm...

When you say "older" what versions are we talking about? I have a friend running 2004 and he doesn't plan to upgrade (in fact, I just re-sold a 2006 Pro CD he purchased by mistake from Dell with a new PC)
