Here's a small tip that's helped me in storing all of my extra cables, power bricks, and other things that tangle: zip lock bags. I used to have a drawer full of cables that were a tangled mess. I put the small ones in zip lock backs. I can see right through them to see what's inside when I need a telephone cord, cat-5 cable or whatever. For bigger items like an old router, I'll put that in a plastic grocery bag, with carger, and tie that. Keeps them together, and keeps it from tangling other hardware. Into the drawer it goes.

Good luck!
